Dear artists and art lovers,
We would be happy to see You in Pärnu, Estonia, attending in person the
inaguration of the 23rd international nude art exhibition MAN AND WOMAN:
ALIENS on Sunday, May 29th at noon at the Museum of New Art.
This summer, our traditional nude art exhibition is dedicated to aliens
from an endless space as well as from our planet. The show will be open
whole summer, from May 29th through September 4th. Among artists
arriving from USA, UK, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Russia, Ukraine, Iran,
Hungary, Holland, Estonia etc, there will be for the first time
extraordinary talented artistst from Brasil and Iceland.
From the bare mad cold Iceland of vikings, we expect to arrive Helgi
Thorgils Fridjonsson. His paintings on aliens as ex-terrestrial angels
are very philosophical and touching. Helgi´s great masterpieces Flight,
Indigo Night and Eyes of the World will be exposed on our 'altar wall'
and those compose a dominant of the exhibition. From the tropical Brasil
we are waiting for a young and surprising surrealist painter Alessandra
Barbierato whose protagonists have like just arrived from remote stars.
Russian contemporary print art will be represented by Oleg Jahnin,
Hungarian glass art by Mari Meszaros, Dutch art brut by Peter Diem,
British erotic photo by Edward Lucie-Smith, Estonian new symbolism by
Juri Arrak...
All those who would like to attend the plein air sessions with great
masters (May 25-28), inaguration of the exhibition (May 29th), are
