The XIV recycling exhibition GIVE A NEW LIFE invites artists to take part!
The subtheme of the exhibition is SCRIPT
Script – be it a message, a memory, a teaching, a system of signs or a pattern. Script can be read with the eyes as well as by touch. Script forms a sign, and this gives us a marker. There are agreed symbols, yet each of us could also find one that is characteristic of ourselves.
The subtheme allows all participants in the exhibition to interpret the theme freely and to let their ideas fly; the only limits are space and the moment.
The aim of the recycling exhibition is to promote the sustainable circulation of materials and recycling.
We wish to present artists’ vision of recycling.
The focus is on reuse, on repairing objects and on bringing them back into circulation. An object does not have to fulfil the same function as before.
Works submitted to the exhibition must be made from recycled materials and/or production waste. Designs and works created by AI do not qualify for participation.
We welcome applications with a description (or concept) of the work(s) and photographs
by 2 November 2026 by e-mail to: muuseum@mona.ee
The jury will inform all applicants of its decision by 9 November 2026.
The exhibition runs from 12.12.2026 to 07.03.2027
at the Museum of New Art, Rüütli 40a, Pärnu.
